When we finally emerge from our tents (ok actually quite early at about 8 am), the weather is quite good but really windy. The wind had already started to get stronger duing the night.

If we did not know it better, one might not be sure in which direction the river is going…

As paddling with this weather conditions would be quite challenging (and we do not know the river) we decide to stay for another day in our first camp.

and to have a late breakfast/lunch.

Of course dad immediately starts fishing..

As you can already see, the weather is once more getting better in the evening, and after a short walk exploring our gravel bank we have a nice dinner: grilled steak and mashed potatoes.
