We do not get up early – the sky is cloudy or at least that’s what it looks like. We do not smell smoke but we are not sure if it’s not.

We decide to explore upriver – walking and as we had the wind at our backs and not a lot of current – sometimes also canoeing.

Even if the weather was not only sunshine – we had a lot of fun and that…

…even when we chose the wrong channel.

After about 2h30 we stopp for lunch. Some geese are resting on the same gravel bank.

Going downriver is actually at least as tiring as going upriver – headwind and lack of current can do that but we make it in 1h30 back to our camp.

We decide to go to bed early in order to start not too late tomorrow.
